Hello Austin Neighbors, Currently, I am wearing an afro and asked for my afro (i.e., type 4c) to be shaped-up. A lead instructor could have made my visit a training moment. However, he chose to instruct the trainee in Spanish about '@#$%@ my nappy hair ASAP.' Also, I should have known better when none of the trainees and/or instructors have type 4a, 4b, or 4c hair. The trainee gets 1 star for his effort. Thanks

It's something dark about this place and by the building being connected to the funeral home, makes it even darker and more creepy. The female barbers come off as "toxic" especially Ms. Sandra. Anyone looking to become a student here, please do your research before you sign your name on the dotted line. I don't get a good feeling from this place
